DENVER (CBS) ―First-time home buyers can get $8,000 when they purchase their home. Right now the offer is set to expire on Dec. 1, but there’s a new push to extend and expand the program.

Money Watch: Home Sales Rising

Pending home sales rose in June for the fifth straight month. The number of homes that entered a contract to be bought jumped more than 3 and 1/2 percent.
