Digital Minds converge on Las Vegas

With the CBS Real Estate Market portal revolutionizing the real estate market in New York, the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) has invited LMG digitalMedia to speak at its annual conference in Las Vegas next week.

Professionals from a wide range of industries will attend the NAB conference to discuss converging technologies. The conference will feature sessions where attendees can go to listen to leaders in digital media share their expertise on reaching audiences across multiple platforms.

LMG digitalMedia’s CEO Simon Mills, who brokered the deal with CBS Television, will be a keynote speaker at a session titled ‘Where Have All the Eyeballs Gone? Reaching New Audiences Now’.

Mills will join the likes of Dan Shelley, the Director of Digital Media for WCBS-TV and WCVS-TV.com (who will moderate the session) and Jane Seagrave, the Associated Press’ Senior Vice President for Global Product Development.

The panel will discuss a range of topics including new business models, creating web content and how to utilize emerging technologies to create and deliver content.

The CBS Real Estate Market, which has just launched in New York (other markets will follow over the coming months), is the perfect example of a portal that operates using multiple platforms.

‘The first stage of our launch is underway and at present users can access listings of significant developments in the New York market. The search function allows the user to personalize their requirements with results positioned on a map. From there you can explore each individual property including floorplans and video (where available).

By the time our launch phase is completed, the CBS Real Estate Market will be a true real estate community – our members will not only be able to find their dream apartment; they’ll be able to be informed when new properties are added to the site via Twitter and stay abreast of trends via the site’s blog,” said Mills.
