Carroll Gardens

Named for Charles Carroll, signer of the Declaration of Independence, Carroll Gardens is equally known for its vibrant heritage and chic revival. This long standing neighborhood of family stores is now sprinkled with European cafes, boutiques and antique shops. Especially attractive are Carroll Garden’s great schools, both public and private. The magnificent brownstones, with their generous street side gardens make its streets the perfect start for an evening of leisure. With only a short subway ride from Manhattan, Carroll Gardens is one of Brooklyn’s finest residential treasures.
